Do you think the gang will survive without Johnny? Do you think they will be stronger or weaker without his presence?

I think it will be tough on all of the gang members to lose Johnny, but for some it may be harder for others. Like for Ponyboy it will be the hardest for him because Johnny was his best buddy. I also think that the gang will be weaker without his presence because Johnny was what made the gang complete. What I mean is that Johnny was the one anyone could just be around and feel comfortable without talking because he's the gang's pet.

In The Outsiders, I think the gang will survive after Johnny dies, but it will be extremely hard for them. Johnny was a large part in the gang, and when he died, it crushed everyone, especially Dally. When Dally commits suicide, it shows that the gang is falling apart. But, I think the gang will pull it together and get over the losses of Dally and Johnny.

I think that when Johnny died he left a huge hole in the gang. Though the gang members are supposed to be tough and not show their feelings, all of the members were crushed and broken when he died. I have a feeling that Dally is going to take Johnny dying the hardest because Johnny was like a little brother to him. Dally looked up to Dally as a role model and I think that Dally liked being thought of as a role model. He liked being respected because a lot of people did not respect him because he was a hood. I think that Johnny’s death will leave the gang very weak because he was the gang pet and everyone cared about him because his parents treated him so badly and he had no one to turn to for support except for the gang.

I don't think the gang will be able to survive without Johnny and Dally. They were a hugepart of the gang, and in the gang, everyone was family.

I think that the gang will survive without Jhonny. Even though this will be hard I think that this group of kids will preverser through the deth of their friend, and become a tight group again.

Without Johnny, I think the gang would be much different. Ponyboy wouldn’t really have a ‘best’ friend like most of the other gang members. It is my opinion that Johnny makes Ponyboy fit in. However, I think that the rest of the gang, everyone except Ponyboy, would be fine without Johnny. It think this because Johnny is quiet and most of the other gang members are louder and can fit in better since they are louder.

I think it was hard for the gang to take in Johnny's death. But I do believe that they will be able to survive without Johnny. Actually I think that the gang will do better without Johnny because Johnny was the one who always got hurt and was the one that made other members of the gang take their time to helping Johnny. Even though Johnny was a good person I believe that the gang will easily survive without him.

Yes I think the gang will survive without Johnny but the gang will never be the same as it was with Johnny. For a while the gang will probably be depressed for a while without Johnny but after a while they will accept it. The gang will probably not get along so well without Johnny as much because even Ponyboy said that the gang could not get along without Johnny at least from Ponyboys perspective.

I think the gang will get stronger if Johnny is gone. Johnny wasn’t much help. Without Johnny the gang will survive.
