If I were part of the gang, I would have reacted the same way Ponyboy did. I would react by trying to be less violent knowing that is what killed Dally and Johnny. I would also try to keep their memory alive by doing things they liked to do. For example: I would go to the lot every once and a while and watch the stars because that is what Johnny loved to do.
I would have been really sad if I were part of the gang. I would try not to fight, since that's what started everything. I wouldn't ever replace either of them, since they were a big part of the gang.

I would probably be extremely sad for a little while but I would eventualy get over it. I would try to make sure that the deaths would affect my life.
